Appeal from an angry Not so Emo- Summary

A girl named Kati Moriarty is considered "emo" along with most of her friends at school. Through her story, we see that she is sick of the discrimination and treatment from other student, and the fact that the faculty seem to have no care about the problem. Her story has an emotional appeal about it that tries to get the reader to feel sympathetic towards her problem and for the most part it works( at least for me). The story didnt fully speak to me or inspire me because I felt that her opinion was kind of biased. She talked about other people as if it were their job to befriend her, when she didnt mention any effort in trying to get to know others, just hang out with more of the same people.
